Goodwill Human a French Humanitarian organization
The Goodwill Human association has recently carried out significant humanitarian actions, providing valuable assistance to populations in distress in Ukraine and Morocco. Led by its president Gilles Matta, the association is recognized for its commitment and effectiveness in mobilizing and distributing vital resources in regions hard hit by recent crises.
Major Assistance in Ukraine
In response to the critical situation in Ukraine, Goodwill Human has delivered 62 tons of donations. This aid includes clothing, medical supplies, non-perishable food, hygiene products, and other essential items. These donations have been distributed to areas particularly affected by conflict, where the needs are most pressing.
Among these contributions, the association provided medical beds, anti-decubitus mattresses and an 80 KVA generator to the Kyiv Emergency Hospital. This equipment is essential to improve patient care conditions and ensure the continued operation of the hospital, even during power outages. The logistics of this operation were complex, involving coordination with local partners, NGOs and Ukrainian authorities to ensure that aid reached those who needed it most. Goodwill Human’s efforts have brought relief to thousands of Ukrainian families, providing them with much-needed support during these difficult times.
Emergency Aid to Morocco after the September 2023 Earthquake
In September 2023, Morocco was hit by a devastating earthquake, causing extensive damage and endangering the lives of many residents. In immediate response to this disaster, Goodwill Human provided 7 tons of clothing, food and medicine to help the victims of the earthquake.
On site, in the Moroccan Atlas at an altitude of 3,000 metres, the association sheltered 300 people by providing them with tents and wood stoves, ensuring that they could spend the winter in warmth. This aid was crucial for the affected communities, providing temporary shelter and much-needed heating in a region where winter conditions can be particularly harsh.
The association's teams have worked tirelessly to distribute these resources in the most affected areas, collaborating closely with the Moroccan authorities and other humanitarian organizations.
Goodwill Human's Ongoing Commitment
Under the leadership of Gilles Matta, Goodwill Human continues to demonstrate its commitment to humanitarian aid and support for populations in distress. Its recent actions in Ukraine and Morocco perfectly illustrate the scope of its efforts and its effectiveness in managing humanitarian crises. Thanks to careful planning, robust logistics and collaboration with various partners, the association manages to provide substantial and rapid aid to people in need.
In addition to these emergency interventions, Goodwill Human is committed to continuing its efforts to support the long-term development and resilience of communities affected by crises. The association plans to implement reconstruction and rehabilitation programs to help these populations get back on their feet and rebuild their lives after disasters.
Goodwill Human remains a beacon of hope for many people around the world, symbolizing human solidarity and compassion in the face of the most dire challenges.
Vehicles
A Page of History is Turned with the End of the 400,000 Kilometer Ambulance Traffic
Today, Goodwill Human announces a huge loss: the ambulance that traveled 400,000 kilometers and served many humanitarian missions is stopping for good. This vehicle, donated by the company BSE ambulances in Hendaye, has been a mainstay for their relief operations since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
An Extraordinary Journey
This ambulance was much more than just a vehicle. It was a true symbol of solidarity and hope, says its President Gilles Matta. "Thanks to it, we were able to lead two convoys to Ukraine, bringing essential aid to the areas most affected by the conflict. In September 2023, it allowed us to help the victims of the earthquake in Morocco, demonstrating its crucial role in international missions."
A Priceless Gift
The President: "We owe this incredible adventure to BSE Ambulances, a company which, since 1993, has continued to redefine the standards of medical transport"
Founded by Bruno Scherer, BSE Ambulances started modestly with the donation of a first ambulance. Today, almost 30 years later, the company has around fifty employees and offers a diverse range of medical vehicles: type A, B and C ambulances, 4x4, bariatric, pediatric vehicles, as well as funeral vehicles.
A Lasting Legacy
BSE Ambulances vehicles are renowned for their high quality, comfort and reliability, features that have enabled our ambulance to cover an impressive distance whilst carrying out vital rescue missions.
The President: "Although our dear ambulance can no longer continue its journeys, it will remain in our depot as a precious memory of dedication and altruism. We extend our most sincere thanks to BSE ambulances for this donation.
exceptional".
The end of this ambulance marks the end of an era for Goodwill Human, but its legacy will live on through the many lives it helped save.
Goodwill Human Chairman thanks BSE Ambulances for their unwavering support. Together they have proven that even in the darkest of times, humanity and solidarity can shine brightly.
